Legal NSA Softballs

Many teams have been inquiring about what softball may be used for the 2014 NSA season. 2014 will be the final year that teams may hit the 44/400 softball; however, the 44/400 may only be used in qualifying and league play.

Beginning this year (2014), teams are required to hit the 52/275 softball for ALL Championship play which includes NITs, States, Regionals, World Series, and Super Worlds.

Moving ahead to 2015 the ONLY ball approved for NSA use will be the 52/275.
